Visas to work in Spain

If you belong to a country outside the EU, you must apply for a visa at the spanish embassy or consulate in your country. All foreign entrepreneurs who wish to enter Spain to work need to have a visa of this type if they are not citizens of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland. The long-term visa application must be submitted to the spanish embassies or consular offices abroad. At the time of submitting the visa application, the fee must be paid, with no provision for its refund if the application is denied. In case of denial of the visa, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid.
